I have a 1980 LUV 4x4 and was wondering if the tranny and rear end from an 89 pup 2wd will bolt up and if i have to change anything... Im trying to convert 4x4 to a 2wd for gas mileage and ease also i will be lowering this and, you know all the good stuff if anyone has some good insite please let me know... Much LUV...

you got the parts already and is it a space cab it a must to get all the info from the donor truck as i did when i got mine from a 89 space cab where you at i have not got mine in yet but as i started i had to cut the axle pads off and move them 1/2 inch to fit on my 76 rear spring and my 89 trans had the remote box on it to move the shifter to the seat about 6 inches
