on average you v8 fellas ... how far do your headers drop past the frame and how much ground clearance do you have from pavement to bottom of headers

I will have to go out and measure mine forsure but if you turn the flanges the right way, if I remember correctly, the bottom of the flange is less than and inch below the frame. I also think the deep pan on my powerglide is slightly lower than the flanges...

hmm. sounds like im gonna have to get creative when i bag the truck. almost makes me think that bagging it first is a better idea so i know how much room ill have when i go to drop the motor in. that way i wont have to re-do anything. id rather have custom headers made than putting on v8 swap headers and then they hang too low and have to re-do stuff anyway

Depends on the size of the custom headers, too. I have 1 tube that runs over the frame and back under on each side...
