I am in the process of swapping engines in my 81 LUV. It now has the 1.8 4cyl I'm go to a 2.8 V6. Will the Transmission fit the 2.8 V6 ? ? ? ? I have noticed there is like a 1/4 inch adapter plate in between the motor and Trans. I would like to know if I have to swap Trans. also. ??
