I finally got to work on the truck this saturday.
I took the spindles off of the truck and am going to get them turned down to fit the vega bearings. I didn't want to do that, but I will be able to purchase any vega upgrades and not have to worry about matching up bearings and a rear seal.
I also took the parking brake cables off and cleaned the scabs off of the frame from cutting off the tranny crossmember.

I was a dirty boy when I got finished with all that.

well I had been told by two previous luv owners that they were using vega rotors and that all they did was match up the bearings. I have found out differently. :(
so I have $90 in cross drilled rotors and dangit they are gunna work.

you mentioned you bought vented rotors that fit a vega ? what brand are they , i have a 75 vega and would like to purchase some .

also

are the spindles one piece or two piece ? on a vega the spindle can be pressed out , due to this design i,ve considered replacing the spindle with a custom machined one and using a different rotor that is 5 lug and thicker .
