Stock gaskets work, even the plain paper that comes with the header will work. I prefer the metal reinforced, though. The 3-piece style looks cleaner since there is no excess gasket material showing between the ports where the Pacesetter flange is a lot smaller than the stock manifold. However a 1-piece like the Felpro with the little metal flanges on top seems to deflect heat away from the spark plugs & wires somewhat. Tube headers put out more heat than the stock cast manifold. Sometimes stacking two gaskets will give just enough clearance betrween the header and the clutch arm, some times you just have to dimple the tube a bit. Get a hand full of 5/16" flat washers, the header flange is thinner than the stock manifold in places and the stud sticks out too far to tighten the nuts without a stack of washers under it. I like to use two collector gaskets- stick them together with a little RTV. This will usually allow the collector and reducer to seal even if they are not quite in perfect alignment.
