here is what i have.
81 luv gas, 4wd
you guys know what it has and what it doesn't
i want to beef it up a little i have fabricated my own lift kit, about 3 in. all the way around i have 16' am mags with pretty big tires not exactly sure what size haven't looked at them in a while. i spun a rod bearing in my little 4 banger and now i want to take this chance to go big or go home. i have heard that a v6 chevy trans will bolt to a 350. i dont know if that is true or not, if it is true then i am looking for a v6 chevy trans that is 5 speed and 4wd. alot of people tell me to gut my truck and drop a bigblock in it, i REFUSE to remove my 4wd. i dont go into deep mud holes just down trails and pull people out when they get stuck. my dad has a couple 350 blocks he will let me have one to build if i want. so im trying to get some guide lines to follow. so any information about transmissions and what engines will bolt up to what or just general 4wd info will be greatly appriciated
well thanks for reading guys and ill try to set up a photo bucket acct and get some pics uploaded.

wow man i cant belive i aint seen this post.. im sorry for not replying but i have decided not to slam a v8 in it but i still consider and toyota straight axle in the front to be able to block and shackle it to get it as high as possible... i live in north carolinia and it is my goal to have the highest chevy luv in NC....
