I was told in order to fit it in i would need to cut out and fab a whole new tunnel is this true?

Well i figured

The person (idiot) who told me this said that because the bell housing on the transmission was custom made to fit the 1.8L in these trucks, that the tunnel was skinnier.

i looked and measured it and it didnt add up.

Thanks guys i just needed a double check from someone who didnt have there head up there ass.
