I need some help figuring out what engine I have, heres the info I could find on it
cast# 3970010

ID#?? VO629OGC (not sure if those are O's or zero's)

vin?? 11k236708

date is really hard to read F25T (not sure about the T)

there is some code on the exterior on the front of the driver side head OASX886

I did several searches on-line all I could find is that it is either a 302/327/350 depending on which web site I looked at

also has a stamp "25GM" on back of block

any help would be great

Try Mortec.com. That T should be a number...

That isn't a 302 then. IT would be a71 block. IF the bore is 4 inch , it's a 350 block.

Ok did some more research and found out it is a 71 350 out of a impala/camaro/chevelle, the 245hp package
sounds like a good one to do a mild build on!
