Anyone seen this/ i got my 30 over 4 bolt 350 block ready to start buying parts and thinking about this. i knew there is a way for a 500 horse mouse. I have my steel crank ready too.

That's good on pump gas. That solid roller would make it hard on an automatic daily driver to live with a convertor though. Steel crank. .030 JE single eyebrow flat tops, a set of MLS head gaskets, a set of IDK 195's and a hydraulic roller will get you around 480 horses and be one you can live with on a daily basis and still run pump gas...

So why would it be hard on an automatic. Wonder how big of stahl I owuld need. My son and I are determined to build a 500 small block for once in awhile street driving.

Just that a convertor with enough stall to work a solid, is usually so jhigh, that it's not enjoyable to drive (after the first 5 minutes) That's why all my streeters were stick cars. A buddy put a pump gas crate 383 in a 68z I sold him, then changed the cam form the hydraulic to the same roller that is in my truck. It didn't take him long to put a Muncie back in it...

Are the stock powder rods good rods if I use arp bolts

Yes , i have sprayed 210 on them and they lived through several bottles . A hydralic roller and a smaller stall would be easier for a driver . I run a XR 288 HR Comp and a 3500 . Mines not so street anymore .
