here is a cool write up done on a dodge d-50 200hp turbo stock, was told easy to get 350hp with out going inside the motor for around $600 to $1200 in mods..dont know if its true or not ( maybe Luvrv8 can chime in on that) anyway here you go for all the people that ask what would work in the luv...

Very detailed write up on that conversion and could be done in a LUV as well. Good find there ctmandu.

Thanks, found this info when i was searching for engine swap for a 72 Celica... may just have to try it to the SST, i would like to freshen it up and may repaint it
