Well, you basically just take the stock drum or discs and have them drilled out from 6 lugs. May be a little difficult to do, as I've never seen "blank" drums or discs (meaning undrilled for the standard chevy bolt pattern).

would be best to get a donor rearend thats already 6 lug
to my knowledge you would need axle shafts, new backing plates, new rear brakes, drums(or rotors if thats the way you want to go).
i dont personally know what will interchange, so me personally would find something different thats alreday 6 lug and modify it to work

A good machine shop can do it easy as they weld up the old holes (one hole interferes with the pattern) and mark and drill new holes then just drill the drums to the six hole as the hole interference will not be a problem. Since this is just the reverse of 6 to 5 hole it will be no problem except to find a machine shop that has or will do it for you.

I have a 6 lug s10 rearend:

I ordered 2000 s10 axles from http://www.moserengineering.com with the 6 lug pattern ($235.00 for set). I am still working on brake brackets but a set of Chevy 1500 (90's models) front rotors will work. Or you can order the kit from http://www.tsmmfg.com/2531.htm $239.00 (they dont sell just the brackets) and do not get a set of brackets for a 5 lug 10 bolt brake conversion they will not fit (I tried).

I have a set of front rotors and calipers from the same year full size chevy truck I am going to try and make a bolt-on front brake conversion.

A '91 thru '95 US-built 2wd Isuzu pickup has the same GM 7-5/8" rear as an S-10 and is already a 6-bolt, drum brakes. It's 4" wider than a Luv and the spring mounts will need moved. It will have 4.10 gears. You can make the front match with wheel spacers or use wheels with less backspacing on the rear to matck the stock front. 2wd, 4-cyl Amigos & Rodeos had the same GM 7-5/8" 6-bolt (4x4's & V6's had Dana-44's). Look at the VIN, if the first three letters are "JAA" it's Japan-built & has a corporate Isuzu rear.
