do the isuzu 5 speeds have a hydraulic or cable clutch?

Both- MSG's are cable, MUA's are hydraulic. MSG's came with 2.3L engines, only 4wd's are '86 & '87 Troopers. MUA's are 2 & 4wd, came with 2.6L-4cyl & several V-6's, '88 & newer.

theres the older 81 85ish 4x4 pup trans though its weeker and is a 4 speed

all pups and troopers made (before) 1988 are a cable setup.
