Most likely no.
Most likely you will need to do some fab work.... some hammering, some cutting and some welding and a lot of time and patience.

Try Sanderson out in CA. They make headers for pretty much anything.

just curious, what headers do most people use for a SBC? If you have to use some sort of block hugger header for the V8 you would have to use it for the 4.3 as well. Width wise the motor are supposed to be the same so you would have the same issues with either motor.

What transmission did you use and what all modifications did you have to do? What mounts any help would be great as I am thinking of doing the swap soon.

the transmission is out of a chevy monza its a 5speed

Image

the transmission mount is a chevy comaro 1980 i think is the year. and a stock chevy luv transmission mount
Image

the moter mounts are a 1969 chevy c10 pickup.

the newer the luv is the better it be to do it in. it looks like it just a bout bolt in to the 1980 luv. but my luv is a 74 ant the frame is just a little diffrent.

I have a 78 LUV. I am kinda confused about the pics of your mounts, is there bars to move them or something. What headers excatly did you use.

the bars are just a adpters i made for the moter mounts.

your 78 will not need the bars. your moter mounts are back more than my 74luv are.
