I searched and searched and all I could find is that Taz threaded the inside of the nozzles and plugged them and then reinstalled the nozzles.
Does anyone know what size / thread the holes in the head are? I want to just plug the holes with some steel or brass plugs or bolts.

When I did mine I looked for a week to find one the size I needed and found a place that said they where proprietary to Isuzu and where an off size like 12.35mm or something like that, don’t remember… anyway he told me to take the stock peace that goes into the head, and the hole in the middle thread it with a 1/8-27 NPT pip thread tap and then just use pip plug to fill them…

I thought a LUV spark plug fits those holes pretty much exactly. I cut the stock AIR manifold up and brazed the ends of it closed, basically just used the pipe like Ctmandu is talking about.

Plugged the air injector holes in my LUV by tapping the inside of the screw-in insert, installing a brass plug, has been way too many years to remember the size of the plug. On the Trooper someone filled the insert with braising rod. If you are also removing the EGR pipe between the intake and exhaust manifolds tap the inside of the screw-in part with a 1/4" pipe thread, install a 1/4" pipe plug. The Trooper header does not have enough room to re-install the threaded portion of the EGR pipe, I plugged it using a 3/8" pipe plug with lots of Teflon tape- it's not the correct thread but it's close and will thread in as long as you don't over tighten it. An old sparkplug cut down on both ends will plug an unneeded O2 sensor hole.

I went to the local hardware store and matched up a tap with the screw in insert, then got 4 allen head bolts that match the tap. It's all done and looks pretty clean. Thanks again.

even though you solved the problem....the threads on the plugs are #12 @1.25 pitch. i searched for weeks before i found them. they're less proprietary and more of a no-no to replace. i ended getting mine from a machinist with less scruples than most.

They are the same as the spark plugs.

Get 4 old plugs and cut the firing tip off and bust all the ceramic out. Cut them down and tap a BSP or more common thread inside.
