I've already installed a 2.3 in one of my 4x4 luv's and was wanting to install a 2.6 in the other 80 4x4 luv, Is there any way to do this without cutting the firewall where the dist will have clearence? I've done some measuring and thinking about installing the 2.6 in a samurai, It's a 91 2.6 with a 2wd auto and I could mod. the little short shaft and go straight to the TC on the sammy and I think that should give me ALITTLE MORE POWER. Anyway getting back to the first question I had to cut and mod. the firewall on my 2.3 install for dist. clearence and I don't want do that on this one any advice and pics would be welcome.
