Hi, I have a quick question. If I put a small block chevy motor into a luv, would A 1970-1980 camaro tranny, drive shaft, and rear end bolt right in? Would the drive shaft of rear end need to be shortened? Thanks for all your help!!

Take some measurements. Mine is all Camaro, except the automatic shifter, even the radiator, which is a little too wide, but it has the automatic trans cooler in it.. The rear end is a little wide, so my tires stick out a little. My tires are later model Stock 16 inch Mag wheels. A little more offset and they would be under the bed. It is not up here at the house we rent, it is at our house we own. It will be a while before I go down there, but I hope to bring it back with me. If I remember right the axle housing sticks out a couple of inches past the U-bolts It may be 6" but not too bad. My is just a street driver now. If that really changes I may save up and go with something else. I don't have a picture from the underside on the internet.

I don't think you can tell much by this picture. I think it is about 1/2 a thread wide, maybe a tread wide. It has been to long since I have seen it.

I am using a 2000 S10 rearend and it fits without much change in width. And as far as I know the camaro drive shaft is the same ujoint size.

I do have to turn the wheel when I try to turn right or left 8O . It hooks up ok. I have only had the 16" Tires on the rear. It will spin both 16"s.
