I bid and won on an elec distrub from a 90's 2.6 will it work for my 78? I won it for 20 bucks so im not to concerned if it doesnt it only had 2 min on it when I found it so I went with it. Just wanted to see if i should be happy about it or keep looking? The upgrade stick said 80 something and newere does the 2.6 work too.

im afraid that it will not work, the 2.6 dizzy is computer controled, and the distributor itself is different than the rest even if it was for the 2.3 it wouldnt... tough luck... but keep looking these electronic dizzys for the luv are totally worth getting even if you dont ha ve a good hot coil for it, you wont be dissapointed in what you get...

what years and motors can you pull these dizzy from? It says post 80's but up to when? I found some more but dont want to make the same mistake again

isuzu I-Mark any that is RWD; pu'p up to 85 ans impulse anything that has the 1.9l NOT 2.0, it will be the G180 or G200 i got mine off a 85 pu'p it had the electronic parts built into the dizzy, but there is a write up on it in the info section of the site on the main page if you want more info...
