i hear about people putting 350's in their luvs. i have an 80 luv that's been sitting for a year, and now i have motivation to do something with it (and money) is there certain requirements as to what years 350 fit in a love? i'm finding ones from the earlier 70's out of full size trucks. do those fit?

You will have to source a Hooker headers swap kit or fab your own mounts. Either one is fairly simple with average mechanical aptitude. The small blocks of most any year that had a carb will fit with these kits. The later ones with fuel injection that are non LS powerplants will also. The LS engines will require the mounts to be fabbed.
