OK I cant seem to find the info anywhere, I have searched and researched. Is there someone who makes a swap kit or do we have to just make the mounts? I am planning on using the 3.8 and 5 spd from a 96 or newer camaro cause I want the gas mileage of feul injection and cant seem to find the older 231.

The Buick swap was popular in the late 80s early 90s but has seen a total fallout with the cost of buick parts and the chinese chevrolet parts controling the market - might as well swap a SBC.

The plans that are provided on this website for the Buick V6 are only about 83% accurate, as I had to modify mine to fit the truck better. I have another set of mounts for a 3.8-4.1 buick V6 using an bellhousing adapter plate and a longshaft turbo 350 auto trans. I also have the driveshaft - exhaust manifolds and 2 1/2 exhaust kit as well.

The 3.8 from the newer camaro is not compatable with the older style mounts meant for the mid gen buick engine so you will be on your own for the mounts and such of that particular engine.

I cant imagine that Buick 3.8s and 4.1s are getting that hard to find (if they are man I better hang on to my stash!) there were many different makes types and brands that all used the good ol Staccato V6. Im sure you can find one for fairly cheep.
