Ok Guys, I am gonna put that 4.3 into the thruck, but my question is can I change it from serpentine to v-belt? I won't need the power steering pump and they do not make a belt small enough to make up the difference. Can I use the brackets and crank pulley from a 350 to change over to v-belt. I know the water pump ran backwards with the single belt, can I just use a normal pump from a 350 so it will run the right way? Also found out the motor comes with a 700r4 tranny included. Man someone likes me :D :D :D

As long as you use a water pump made to turn the direction of the crank, your OK with a V-belt.
