So i got an electronic ignition for my luv, it came from an 85 pup its got the ignitor inside the distributor, i was just wondering if there was anyway to check it to see if its still any good, my luv went tits up the other day for no reason known to me and im just trying to troubleshoot it...

I don't know of any way of bench testing a dissy. I guess the only way to test it is to fit it, pull a plug lead and check for spark.

sorry i dint type it clearly i dont need to know if the dissy is good its the ignitor module inside it that i was wondering about.. if there anyway to test the ignitor...
