So I scored a used weber 32/36. I'm looking it over carefully and I see this:

It looks to me like something (an idle jet maybe?) broken, but it could be normal. The weber drawings don't have enough detail for me to see.

Anyone know?

Does look like a secondary idle jet.

Hard to tell if it's broken...but does look like its missing a jet holder.Should be a flat head screw, gasket and jet there.

Thanks,

I found an old Holley-weber that I had and used it to figure out what's wrong. It's just as you said, the jet-holder screw was broken off. I pulled one off the old carb and I think I'm good to go.
