I just read a post about the good old days and new suspension tech. I can tell you first hand that while air bags can keep you from high centering on a speed bump or replacing your front bumper spoiler ever other weekend, they do have disadvantages. Luckily you can get braided air lines now, used to be plastic that would leak constantly. And I dont care how many people compare their trucks ride to a Caddy or Lex, theyre full of shit. I drive those cars on a daily basis. Not even close. Then you can also talk about how easily the front bags pop. Hit a pot hole or bump the wrong way and pop she goes. I ll go back to the traditional 3 or 4" drop and let the kids keep spending their parents money(another topic I could go on about the "new generation" of mini truckers)

Nothing wrong with airbags if dont CORRECTLY. I drive a 98 Lincoln Mark 8. Has factory 4 wheel airbags. Rides great at stock height to 1" lower. but like anything out there, including the Lexus and Caddys, when you lower a carthe ride suffers.
