I sent a pm to "little_luv" about this subject. But everybody who reads this thread latter might be interested. L :eugeek et me introduce myself. My name is Aubrey and I am from California. I own a LUV, '80 4x4 and my brother owns a '92 typhoon. I know a lot about chevy's and their GM model twins. Yes finding a syty drivetrain is almost impossible. Alas not is all lost, the oldsmobile bravada, and chevy AWD astro van used the same transmission and transfer case and front-end. Sweet huh. Source a 4.3V6, get an intercooled turbocharger kit, measure the driveshafts-have them shortened if needed(so the geometry's not off) and you have yourself the same thing. A Wham Bam thank you Ma'am AWD turbo intercooled V6 LUV.
