What would be a good Manual Transmission for a V8/V6 swap that would work with the hooker tranny mount? I have searched and was not able to find anything on the forum

Thank You for the fat response. I am considering a 4.3L swap in my 79' luv but I want to keep it a standard. i m,ay start looking for a s-10 4.3l to get the complete drivetrain out of.

I wonder if Painlesss make a wire harness for the FI on the 4.3l like the V8 350? That would nice to have the fuel injection.

Most factory efi setups can have the wiring loom modified to run stand alone. That way you can wire it back into pretty much any vehicle.

Anything that doesnt have a body control module for security intergrated into the ecu can be easily modified. Its just a matter of getting your hands on a good wiring diagram.

T5 would be the box to go with wouldnt it???

Bob.
