You would be better off gettin a 4 speed auto out of an impulse.
A g200 one will go behind a luv motor.
A turbo or 2.3L one will bolt up but the flex plate and converter arrangement need work. Add a few extra clutch plates and youve got the same box in the 2.6L pickup auto.
If the LUV is a manual the tranny mount should work. Not sure how the auto goes, you may need a manual chassis memeber.
Your tailshaft will be too long. The auto trans is longer than the manual trans, again not sure on the auto luv, we didnt get them down under.
