Using car-parts.com, found an Impulse engine locally. Description = RAN GOOD 85#-90# COMP, with 100,000 miles on it. To me, the compression sounds low. Is this about right for this engine?

does sound a bit low.

One would thing that if all his readings are about the same and low, that someone has done the comp test with the throttle closed or the pulgs still in. Ie not done it right.

Im just swapping some gear onto a 4ZC1-T impulse motor at the moment to go into a 85 pup. Theres a few little things that need changing around. Its easier if youve got the mounts off a pup/trooper that had a 2.3L (2.6) in it.
