has anyone used any other header than the hooker set for the swap. i would like to find something cheaper even if i have to modify a set. i was going to try a set of huggers but i don't think they will work because of the crossmember. and suggestions would be awsome. thanks

More info. Do you still have your torsion bars?

I haven't tried but have you looked at the S-10 headers to see what it would take to make them fit, thats both the long and the shortys :?:

This seller on ebay has the S-10 swap headers too, but these look like they might work. They are for angle plug heads. I really need to see a real V8 swap to get a better idea of clearances.

It looks like the S-10 headers have longer horizontal runners on the driver's side, maybe too long?

Hope this helps, let us know what you end up using...

Wow thats a good price for SS headers and they are polished too. It's almost worth it to buy them just to hang on the wall.
