i was just thinking like i have a 20R in my truck, is it posible for me to put a 22R or should i say would it bolt on to my engine mounts if anyone knows that. what i really want to do is put a 22RE (fuel injected) with turbo well i would really like to know this if its possible because i really want to do that. and no i dont have to smog my truck i would really be happy if its possible cuz i can maybe get a 22R for cheap.

The bolt patterns should be the same. 22R motors should still be very readily available and plentiful. I knew some guys when I was growing up that used put those engines through hell and back. They would shave the head using a belt sander and true-up a warped head by putting it on a thick steel plate in a gas stove. Crazy sounding I know, but, they would whoop the pants off of almost anything they ran against.
