does anyone have a diagram or can anybody explain how to convert the factory externaly regulated setup to a internaly regulated gm delco alt. any help would be appreciated. thanks

Just go out and buy the internallt regulated alternator. All youu have to do is run the hot wire from the alternator to the battery and you are good to go. The one wire internal regulator alternator is the only way to go.

I had to make a new bracket for my internal regulated alt. by cutting the guide off the old bracket and bent some 2"x1/4" flat bar worked out perfect
