I was wondering if anyone has ever mounted a ford v8, and if so what is needed just to mount the engine and tranny. Can any mounts be modified or do mounts have to be fabricated??? Will the engine be able to sit well in the area where the 4 cylinder mounts are?
Thanks for the help guys.

I agree if you can weld and use a flaming hacksaw you can make most anything work. I stated in a post a while back that I thought a 302 and a AOD would make a good daily driver. Keeping the fuel injection and everything.

However I am a Chevy person and do prefer a Chevy engine even if the trucks are really Isuzu's! Ford's have came a long way in the price difference for horsepower. It used to be a lot cheaper to make power with less money on a Chevy but Ford's are making some good power with affordable parts.

Use what you have and make it work that's why mine has a Big Block and at least it will be one more Luv running that some Idiot will call a S-10.

I think my next tag is going to say NOTAS10 or ITSALUV or S10 NOT it kills me that people allways call it a S-10!!!!!!!!!!

Just for shock value it would be fun to pick up an old flathead V8 ford and drop that into a LUV or something. Imagine the looks on people's faces when you opened the hood...

RAT heres a few more ideas:
STENKLR, S10ISSLO, or NOLUVS10
