messed up big time. Had the driveshaft cut 42 inches center to center of ujoint. Too long. misses going in the rear housing by the lip on the yoke.
Have to have it recut to 41 inches. Woof, what an expensive mistake. Cost 162 to get it made the first time. :oops:

Dont feel to bad I ended up making mine too long and had to have it re done.
After all the labor and parts that went into my shaft I ended up paying $500. :x
Long story but to make it short they said there were some ''special order'' parts that the shaft needed.

Got the driveshaft recut and in tonight. 41 inches is great from front center drive to shaft hole rear center drivet hole. Leaves one inch of flex and plenty of splines in tranny.

To long is better than to short . They can always cut more off . They have to retube to add length . Glad to hear you got that figured out .
