Got a ? bout my 700r4 in the 88 s10. I have it out now waiting to put our 400 small block back in with it. We have the kickdown to hook up but there is a white connector on the tranny for something. I just put a new stall convertor in it too. I have been told i need a switch or something to lock it up or unlock it.
Not sure it ever had one with it before. Do I need it. Didn't have one in my old 66 pu with a stock convertor.

Wiring is for the converter lock up . If you don't wire it it will work like a regular automatic (th-350) You have to have a stall that has a lock up clutch in it . You will need to add or fab the needed linkage for the T.V. cable or it will fry the trans . These are also sensitive to that cable being adjusted properly . Bowtieoverdrives.com is where I would look for more info.
