Has anyone put some aftermarket headers after they swapped the motor into their Luv? If so, I did to know how low the headers are after installed.
Thanks!

Yep, got chrome headers that came with the autofab kit, and they do hang pretty low. If I was as low as your truck, I would probably be high centered on them. Sorry I dont have any pics under the truck, but here is a pic of them on the motor. You got to figure it is 2-1/2" to 3" lower than the tranny crossmember.

As low as your truck is, I don't think any collector style hearder will fit. If you aren't going to run open headers, a street rod style header might work.

From the looks of the Summit headers with some work you could cut and shorten the tubes and maybe angle the collectors sos the are even with the bottom of the pan.Or modify them to be finder well headers but as good as your truck loos and if you still have finder wells you may not want to do that.Any way you can make the headers fit like you want the send them in to be coated in the cooler of your choice.I just remembered:check Downey the Toyota conversion specialist they have short headers for the Buick V6 (at least they used to)

I dont think they'll clear the torsion bars. I am suprised that these headers are available though.

I was going to post the same thing but if his truck is bagged, the torsion bars probably arent there anymore.
