According to Summit's .pdf document, The transmission mount will sit 3.75 in to the rear. And the shifter will be 2-3 in back farther than stock.

Here's a link to their installation manual.

If your going to spend that much on a tranny you might as well go with a Tremec TKO 5 speed. You can order a bunch of different shifter combo's from them and you can even have it end up in the stock hole if you want to. I couldn't afford a TKO so I got a T-10 and the linkage is about a 1/4'' away from the side of the trans tunnel so I dont know if the Richmond will work. But if making a new trans tunnel is not an issue I say go for it!

Heres the link for the TKO....

I have a t-10 in my trk but i move the whole engine assy back and had to build a tunnel hump for my super shifter III and it set right next to my leg not bad great for shifting. If i had the money i would definitely use a Tremec 5sp as the shifter would be centered in the tunnel and better gear selection. Also you wouldn't have to modify the x-member as much.

Yup you can even use a low rear gear with the TKO, and still have a nice low rpm and good mileage on the highway.
