OK, what do some of you guys suggest for a bracket to hold the alternator. i have a low alternator bracket that mounts to the front motor mount drivers side that I recently broke a bolt off into, and then planted an easy out right in the center.
I was soing to just move it to the other side, but the mechanical fuel pump attatchment area is in the way.

that leaves the next best place up off the head. which there are many, big ugly P.O.C.

What I would like is something simple, not neccesarily chrome, that isnt as big as those aftermarket ones that u can buy at the local auto parts.

short water pump, headers, etc.. any suggestions?

If your running headers they make a 2 piece bracket by a company named SPECTRE THE PART #'S ARE 4227 & 4228 they sell SPECTRE parts at Kragen, Auto Zone, Checkers, and I'm sure other places carry SPECTRE parts. This mounts alternator bolts to the driverside of the motor.

i run the spectre brackets i run a stock alt also it looks good and is very adjustible

Bam! two hits for the spectre. thanx guys. Ill go for one today. Probably make some time tonight to put it on, and maybe pull my truck out tommorrow.
