I had the same problem while on vacation a few hundred miles from home. Mine started out getting wobbly and pretty quickly broke completely off. If you are going to continue driving it, start practicing shifts without the clutch right now. You may need to have that skill under your belt pretty soon.
The fix is fairly easy. The challenge is getting the bracket out. You have to disconnect the brake pedal, unbolt the bracket from the firewall and the dash/steering column. I found it easiest to get out by removing the gauge cluster and pulling it though that hole. If you are good at puzzles you should have no problem.
Once it is out, it will be obvious what needs to be beefed up. The tab the pivot shaft for the clutch pedal is on is really flimsy. I zapped it back on, then added some additional metal to gusset it up.
