I knew that poll would be trouble.

I don't want to stir the pot too much, just a comment about "heavy duty" trucks. A lot of times the decision of which brand to buy comes down to financing deals in the business world. My wife's boss just inked the deal on a ford box van and the deciding factor was how the financing deal went. The second runner up was a nice Isuzu TD that specs wise had the edge. I was hoping for the Isuzu myself.

If you see more fords with cab guards or flat beds on them it is probably more because the ford finance man worked it into the deal on the truck. Around here I see more old Chevys doing the grunt work than I do new fords though.
I grew up driving a 1950 Chevy cabover farm truck(which still runs/drive today), so there is my bias. I'm sort of brand loyal against ford, but then again I don't like Porsches either. At least here we all have something in common, which is probably why this board is so much nicer than other places around the net. Most of the time you don't get much of this arguement. Hell, I'll walk across a busy street to look at a nice LUV no matter if it is powered by Isuzu, Ford, Chevy, Mazda, Toyota or chipmunks.
