ok some parts interchange from the Gemini and the luv was wondering if anyone has checked into this if they are the same people here may have an alternative for the conversion with exchange rate should be around $297 give or take and I had an intake shipped from there for $35 so shipping might not be to bad still under $500 compared to what we have now..... Look good. Nothing that says what they might fit, unless they are some of their numbers and letter combos. Holden is a Chevy of Australia. They make some cool cars. Hot Rod brought a Holden UTE(Chevy El Camino) It was bad ass.

It would depend on the length of the spindel that they are made to fit.

Bearings could be differnt numbers as long as the inside diamator is correct. If you can get a Timkin Catalog it has all the demsions on bearings races and seals.

Richard

Maybe they could be talked in to making a few setups.

I still have not herd from him but I did E-Mail him late on Thursday which would have been Friday for him, maybe I will hear from him on Monday.

By the way the stock LUV hub and rotor is a two piece unit.

He contacted me today, he would like to make 10 sets and sell them here in the U.S. I am waiting on him to get back to me on what measurements he needs.

I am sending him a stock spindle and hub/rotor set up. He is going to unbolt the rotor from the hub and make a new 5 lug hub the bolts to the stock rotor and uses the stock bearings and seals.

Thanks for the lead Ctmandu.

I have a Idea working in my head. This setup would be great if the cost is right. "BlackLuv80s" S-10 swap looks good, cheap too.

I am looking at a way to drill stock rotors for 5 hole. I am hoping to prototype one from a stock hub, rotor and using a spindle as part of the fixture for doing this mod.

I am going to do a CAD drawing, if I can still remember how

If this works out, I will offer this service for a reasonable fee.
Your parts (if good), my parts or? I am not looking to make money off selling parts. I could do it, if I can find a good price on parts and someone does not want to wait. to get theirs modified.

Nothing but a Idea right now, but it is not a world shattering Idea, just combining a few things I have done in my life. Machinist, CAD, fabricator, mechanic

I am not hiding anything, right now, I just want to see if I can do this.
If someone has these types of skills, I don't mind sharing or even posting what I think I can do...

BUT!!!!!! I am not a engineer of any kind. Do so at your own risk, I am brain dead and don't know what I am doing...;..AND of course your mileage may vary

This is great if he can do it. One piece unit or a 2 piece hub and rotor either one would be great.

Sorry to keep up all this brain storming.

New setup or drilled stock rotors, we need to deside on a bolt pattern.
5 x 4 1/2, 5 x 5, 5 x 5 1/2

Size Stud 7/16, 1/2 or ? and how long

Richard

4.5, 4.75 and 5 inch bolt patterns all get into the bolts that join the two halves, with the larger 2 getting worse, I havent seen the 5.5, but it may clear. The 4.5 pattern on my truck gets in to the head of 2 of the bolts, slightly, but not in the shank. the 4.75 and 5 do. I'd like to see 1/2 inch studs since the cost difference is minimal and the larger size would be better strength wise. Just remember, my opinion and a $1.19 will get you a cup of coffee.

Most people call this a
"GROUP BUY"

Mimunim of XX people to get good price.
One person normanlly handels the "deal"
All money is handeled by dealmaker
dealmaker gets cash, USPS MO, paypall or what?
Ships items to buyer if group buy must be sent to one address

Not a moneymaker. Person does not need to tie up his money on part(s) or shipping. They may make a small fee, but must be reasonable or whats the point of a group buy, but to save money...

Just my 2¢ worth...

I"ll go to bed now... 'Night all

Cost should be any differnt unless your building milions. My redrilled drums and hubs are that way. One stud hole cuts into about 1/4 of the 6 hole pattern. If you are talking about the bolts that hold the hub and rotor together.... We don't need no stinkin bolts  Some of the setups use a serated washer to hold them together....

I hope something works out
