Anybody know what year/car came with the lighter weight rear drums for the Ford 9'' I cant find any one around here that will cut the outer ring off of mine and looked at a ton of used ones and cant find the ones I need.

I have had machine shops cut the outer bell off before but then i know the guys at the machine shops to. The drums that you are looking for are the 57 to early 70s 2" drums but be carful because you are going to need the backing plates to go with them.Thats the cheap way your alternative is to go after market and if you go that route i would suggest going to a disc conversion.And if this is on a LUV look at the drag race setups as they are lighter and will work on the light weight LUV.Just my suggestion
