I will be back out in about 2 months on my backup motor (355 roller with alum heads) I will probably be spraying 2 stages to insure it gets deeper into the 9's

as far as thje BIG motor goes... it bums me out but its going to be a while before that comes back out....unless RHS comes up with the CNC head I want sooner then their published release date.

Did you already get the rpm heads?
If not I'd consider some better flowing bigger heads for your 383.
Something in the 200-215cc range would make more power, especially with some bowl work...

I have the 60739 Edelbrock aluminum heads. With the gameplan right now, the motor should produce around 420 H.P. and if needed, it can take a shot of NOS. But i doubt if i'll go that far.

I've got a line on a 67 Nova. The price is 4000.00. Im supposed to get some pics e-mailed to me sometime soon. If the pics look good, i could be taking a road trip to get it.
Right now the car has a 350 under the hood. That will get pulled to fit the 383. And that gives me another block to build off of.

It turns out that the Nova has too much rust. I thought that 4 grand was too good to be true. Now im eyeing a 78 El Camino. The guy wants 400 for it. He wants to keep the motor so thats works out. Im waiting for a reply from him so i can work out a time to inspect the car.
