Alrighty my LUV truck has A/C so ill have the condenser off that. A buddy of mine mentioned i might be able to convert that into a tranny cooler. My question is would it handle the heat and presure generated by an auto trans(i dont know how much preasure an A/C system runs, but im perty shure trannies see 80psi perty regularly)? Im thinking about that becouse it will be bigger than anny after market cooler and since im running the cooling stuff in the bed of the truck ill need all the help i can get. Thanks.
oh and its a th400.

I got a "frame rail cooler" for my truck from Summit. It is pretty small does a good job(i'm running about a 3000 stall on the street and have had no temp problems from my trans) and is designed to be mounted anywhere and still cool. I think I payed $35 or $40 for it.

I would think it would be a great idea its on the front of the truck for more air. And a condenser is bigger than mostly every tranny cooler.
