Has anyone tried to use the S-10 V8 conversion headers on their LUV? I just can't stand the thought of paying over $300 for the LUV conversion headers by Hooker unless I just positively have to. :x Any thoughts, ideas, or other succesful header options would be much appreciated - $300 worth I guess depending on what "news" you have :lol:

I've heard the s10 shorties work, but I've never seen any in person. I have seen block huggers though...

I'm running Hedman S10 fenderwell headers on mine and theres another guy on the site that is also. It depends on how your motor is sitting in the frame but yeah they will fit. I'm going to have to figure out something to do with my master cylinder because one of the tubes hits mine so i may have to move it up higher or something. I'll get to that part as soon as my headers come back from being coated.

Also ran Hooker block huggers and Sanderson block huggers on mine. both worked fine I sold my hookers to that ChevytoyR1 kid on here and i think he's running them on his truck now.

The block huggers work fine. If you go to the chassis section and look at "going back together" you can see my block huggers. Let me know if you need closer pictures.

Actually on my 406 i am running a set of 67-69 camaro hooker headers. the are a little cheaper and fit just fine. I dontknow how much they cost now but then they were the better deal
