Shouldn't be too much cussing pulling a V8 out hehe. Let me know if you need a hand, I can come help. I had to R&R the tranny in my 75 right before I sold it, had it (motor and trans) out and back in and driving in about a day. Make sure you hook up the tranny cooler lines with the motor/trans out, do as much as you can with it out, will save time, and allot of headaches.. I spent near a whole day just trying to tighten the trans cooler lines once, what a PIA. Also you might look into a lokar trans dipstick for your trans dipstick issue? They sell them at American Pasttimes on Cascade in CV, about $75 bucks, or you can get them mailorder for about $50 I think.
