 Post subject: Driveshaft hookup info
PostPosted: Tue Aug 30, 2005 8:35 am
Chevy vans (mid 70's; possibly more models) have 2 driveshafts. I took the short driveshaft at the trans. and cut the end off (the end that fits on the other driveshaft). I also cut the end off of the Luv driveshaft off--slid the van shaft inside the Luv shaft. it's a pretty good snug fit. All that's needed now is welding and maybe balancing. I sent it to the balancing shop--$30 bucks. Hope this helps.

Grandmaster of the "Shade Tree" way.. I can't see the yard for all the cars. Come on down and we will sit on the porch and watch the grass grow.
