The 2.0, 2.3, and 2.6L (4Zx1 series) Isuzu motors have round ports on the exhaust instead of the squarish ones on the 1.8 and 1.9L motors. It did appear to me that the bolts line up, but the holes on the header will not perfectly match the head on the stock LUV motor.
I've never had to smog test my rigs so I could not tell you for sure how they will react. My impression has always been that you needed a header that is certified in order to pass, regardless of the actual emissions of the rig. So basically, never mind that you put a bunch of parts on that increase performance and fuel economy, if its aftermarket and does not have the sticker it fails.
