i dont think i would bother with taking a 4 wheel and making a2wheel.it would be to hard to mess with. i would just get a 2 wheel and put the 4 wheel back together.

Im planning on dropping a 327 race motor in my luv and its a 4x4. From looking at the shop manuals i have for my luv the 4x4 and 2x4 are identical in the front end, the 4x4 simply has the t-case and a diff whith the cv axles. It realy wont be hard to pull all this. You just have to drop the front end.

Yah, I was thinking the same thing. I'll take pictures of the progress for all you other 4x4 owners who may want to do the same thing. It'll probably be after it gets warm.

MEPR, thanks for the input. The only thing I was still wondering about were the hubs. I haven't pulled all that apart yet, and I was wondering how different it was from a 4x4. Are they completely different, or just like an add-on?
