I know what you need from reading the article, and should be able to get everything except for the module, is the module on an 84 p'up the same with a 2.3 as it is on a 82 luv?

An 84 PUP should have a 1.9L that looks identical to a LUV motor. 2.3s have the distributor going into the head on the back of the passenger side of the motor and would likely be very different. Take a look at http://www.rockauto.com and check the part numbers between years of LUV and Isuzu Pup/Trooper to find stuff that is the same and see what you can come up with there. I have done that several times comparing Trooper parts from different years and LUV/Isuzu parts and I find it really helps.

the module from the toyota 18r motor is the same, they even plug into the lead from the pickup.

i grabbed a pocket full of em when i got my distributer.... can't have too many extra parts right? i used to keep an extra set of points in the truck just in case but now i keep an extra module.
