I have an 80' Luv 4X4 that I want to put swampers on and take it wheelin' but I don't think my engine has the horse to spin 31X10.50's so I was wondering how much it's going to cost for a rebuild kit. I have an 84' G200 in my truck, I just can't find a place that sells them. Thanks.

What kind of engine can I put in my truck that would bolt up to my transmission with more power, available parts reliability?

i'd keep the g200. check http://www.northernautoparts.com for a rebuild kit. if its not listed try calling them. i know they have a kit for the g180.

If I remember correctly, the kit I used to rebuild my G200 also listed a G180 on the package. The engines are essentially the same. Do a little research, but I think they're the same kit.
