Well guys, after all my work and blood put into getting that 350 into my truck, its coming out...... A friend of mine is selling me a freshly rebuilt Pontiac 400 with 402hp for $300  . In the deal I am also getting a 3spd tranny, the rear end out of the Firebird, and he's gonna help me modify the truck to get the motor to fit. Oh yeah did I say its 402hp????? Hes a cool guy (former drug dealer who bought nothing but car parts with the money, but now clean and sober), today he sold me a new Edelbrock 1405 carb and a new aluminum radiator for the truck for $200. The best thing about the 400 other than the 402hp is that it is complete with new heads, new intake, carb (that ones a Holley), M/T valve covers, and a whole bunch of other stuff.... The motor is out of a car that got rolled 178 miles after the rebuild, and which my friend paid $275 for (he wanted the rear end) expecting the motor was a piece of crap, but instead we got ourselves a diomond in the rough.... When I get the 400 in my '78, I will be putting my 350 up for sale complete from Edelbrock air cleaner w/K&N element, down to the B&M Shifter (all items will be removed from motor,if shipping is requested, and repackaged in their original boxes, of which the only one I don't have is the box for the carb as its a reman). Cost of motor will depend on the cost of the parts minus 25%. Info will be posted at a later date.
